A staff member of the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee since July of 1994, serves as the Regional Church and Community Consultant in the South West Region. He consults with several agencies and churches on Community Development projects. He is ordained with the California South Classis of the Christian Reformed Church. He worked for Rockwell International as an Industrial Engineer and Material Project Manager for 13 years. Rudy has a Master of Divinity from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California and an Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University. Rudy is a certified ICA methods trainer in Technology of Participation. Rudy is married to Vicki. They have been married since 1976, and have four children. Rita lives in Phoenix with her husband Matt and their daughter Mia, Sarah lives in Scottsdale, Mateo lives in Phoenix and Amy lives at home.


Neil Cole is an experienced church planter and pastor. Aside from founding the Awakening Chapels, which are reaching young postmodern people in urban settings, he is also a founder of Church Multiplication Associates (CMA) which has grown to thousands of churches in 45+ states and 40 nations in only 9 years. He is one of the key founding leaders of the simple church movement that is rapidly growing around the world. Currently Neil serves as CMA’s executive director. He is responsible for resourcing church leaders with ministry tools to reproduce healthy disciples, leaders, churches and movements. His responsibilities also include developing, training, assessing, and coaching church planters.

Neil received a M.Div. from Grace Theological Seminary (1989), a B.A. in Fine Arts from CSULB (1984).

Neil is also an international speaker and has authored Organic Church, Search & Rescue, Organic Leadership, Cultivating a Life For God, TruthQuest and co-authored Raising Leaders for the Harvest, and Beyond Church Planting: Pathways for Emerging Churches with Dr. Robert Logan and Organic Church Planters’ Greenhouse with Paul Kaak. He lives in Long Beach, California with his wife Dana and their three children Heather, Erin and Zachary.
