::about training and coaching::

We provide, teach, facilitate and lead workshops, trainings and roundtables to any local non-profit, community group, local church, individual, etc. We believe in the power of shared learning, the need for collaboration and the value of practical tools for community transformation. We have three levels/aspects of training/coaching. Please click on one of the following to link to more information:

1. Discovering God's Heart for Your City

2. Specialized Trainings

3. The Bigger Picture - Kingdom Causes is working to merge the three streams: prayer, community development and city reaching as a model for holistic community transformation. This training is available on request.

In addition, Kingdom Causes is committed to actively pursuing broader coalitions, other regional efforts, national conversations and other intermediary organizations in order to learn from and partner with those entities.

Upcoming Trainings/Facilitations:

  • November 20, 2009 - The Idea Camp Pacific Northwest. Kingdom Causes Training and Partnership Catalyst Dr. Mary Glenn will be facilitating a dialogue, collaboration and networking workshop around the theme: Merging 3 Streams: Prayer, Community Development and City Reaching: God is calling the "Church of the City” to be His agent on the front lines of hope. As the Old Testament prophet points out in Jeremiah 29:7, this is called “seeking the welfare (shalom) of the city!” Kingdom Causes and others have been working to merge these three streams (prayer, community development and city reaching) for the good/welfare of the city recognizing that no one person or entity can bring about community transformation. It is about what God is doing in the city and how He is calling us to work together towards that effort. We'll dialogue about creating interdependent and collaborative networks in and between these three streams as we work together for God's Kingdom and transformation in our cities. We will talk about why we should network, who to connect with, how to connect, cooperate and build collaborative efforts, what some of the barriers/challenges are, how to discover our roles in the process and ultimately share best practices and God's hope for our cities.
